Vernon met with the Secretary of State for Education to discuss
On Monday 31st January Vernon met with the Secretary of State, Michael Gove, to discuss the future of Gedling School. Vernon had a reasonably constructive meeting and Mr Gove laid out the options for the school’s future. He said he would consider carefully any proposals that come to him from the governors which were viable and were part of a broader partnership with another provider. Vernon stressed the need to keep the existing site of the school, for the sake of the students, future students and the community as a whole.
